A 1960s John Makepeace OBE dining furniture, featuring a table constructed with a massive 2.5" thick plank of Andaman padauk, elevated on a pair of Royal blue covered, rectangular pillars  28"h  144"L  36"w; and a set of eight Andaman teak framed and laminated, semi-circular, low back chairs with Royal blue fabric upholstered seats, raised on square legs  (An identical table was commissioned by the late Baroness Thatcher)

NOTE : As a pre-condition of bidding, please note this lot must be paid for and collected by 5pm on Monday 11 October. It is exceptionally heavy and the buyer will have to engage not less than four able-bodied and experienced carriers, as the Auctioneers do not have staff to undertake this task, there can be no exception to this condition
