Portable items should be taken to the Auction Rooms for appraisal where practicable to do so. For large items, a Valuer may make a home visit by prior appointment.
The Company’s experienced Valuers routinely travel throughout London, the Home Counties, South Midlands, the West Country and beyond.
Either at Amersham or when more appropriate, on an owner’s premises, Valuers will be happy to advise potential Sellers face-to-face on the estimated value of any item being considered for sale at Auction. Before items are consigned for Auction, verbal appraisals are provided free of charge:-
Owners may also e-mail suitable photographs to the Auction Rooms, where the Valuers will do their best to provide accurate assessments by telephone, fax or e-mail.
Where an obscure or unusual item needs more specialist knowledge for proper appraisal, such expertise will be provided from within a circle of associated consultants and seamlessly integrated into the comprehensive Valuation Services being offered by Amersham Auction Rooms.
This evaluation expertise and the many other resources and skills of the Company, are available to private individuals, trustees, solicitors and other professional representatives.
